Morning: Berat Castle & the Onufri Museum
Start early and climb to Berat Castle while the air is cool. Allow a couple of hours to explore the ramparts, the ruined churches and the Onufri Museum. The views over Mangalem are at their best in morning light.
Afternoon: Mangalem & Gorica
Descend into Mangalem for a slow lunch and a wander through the famous windows. Cross the Gorica Bridge to explore the quieter Gorica quarter and capture the classic view back toward the castle.
Evening: Riverside Dinner
End the day with dinner at one of Berat's traditional restaurants, ideally with a terrace overlooking the river. If you can, stay overnight — the city's evening atmosphere is worth it.
